I am copy pasting it here as hardly new members trouble to take notice on website.Short Summary:Don't be a trouble maker. Help keep the community happy and healthy.

Rules:

1. New threads should relate to India

2. Threads should be supported by verifiable links.

3. Blogs/ Wikepedia / youtube links are not allowed as basis for discussion threads.

4. No misbehaving / abuses - don't abuse your freedom of speech. Abuse will not be tolerated even in retaliation.

5. Personal comments will attract action from mods depending on the severity.

6. Post in English / provide a translation in English when requested.

7. No spamming (no ads, games, online petitions, chain letters, schemes, junk mail, Invitations to join other communities etc.8. Threads based on other communities / Community discussions discussions therein /etc are not allowed.

9. No fake profiles.

10. The severity / quantum of ban and other decisions / actions taken with respect to the above rules shall depend on the facts of each individual case.

11. All the Above Rules are Subject to Change and Updated as and When needed.

Dos and Don'ts List:Don't post about reporting some community/profile as bogus -

Trust me everyone who has to know about that community already knows. And the rest don't want to know.

Don't repeat your postings. Yes we all know how important your community is to you - but be polite about advertising it to rest of the world.Do encourage healthy discussions.

India has a ton of positive things to talk about and look forward to. Explore and enjoy those.Do respect others' views. In your life you will always meet people who don't agree with you- respect their views and move on.Do report bad behavior - The moderator does not get time to read each and every post- so don't expect that he can always "take care" of a problem/trouble-maker. When you do report (by sending a message to the moderator)- make sense- don't just send a profile link, send a link to the topic/page where a member is making trouble.

Don't encourage bad behavior/conflicts. Don't respond to irresponsible posts with your own.

Even if you mean well, but are misbehaving in other members' perspective you will be banned.Don't start profile/posts/chain games - there are other communities better suited for this, look around and choose your own ground.
